I am constantly fascinated by the repetition and design in nature. I love the multi-layered images of proliferous plants, as they entwine and twist around one another, merging and seperating at will, creating an abundance of pattern and form. In this piece I have tried to simplify this inspiration into semi-abstraction to enjoy these flowers in their most basic form.
I have added gold, silver and copper leaf to provide interest as the light changes throughout the day and to catch your eye each time you walk past, whatever angle you see it.
