I have been painting and drawing all my life - it's what I do and who I am.
My earliest artistic memories are of throwing paint at a large piece of paper in infant's school, over and over again - oh the joy and freedom! Although born a city girl, my heart has lead me to the coast in Devon and now to the west of Cornwall where further inspiration awaits.
At present I am absorbed in the use of acrylic gouache for their velvet, intense finish helping to create truly individual pieces of artwork that reflect how I feel about beauty and life. I'm an artist who loves to work with vibrant colour, strong shapes and contrast, continuing to push my work in different directions, trying new methods and ideas whilst always remaining inspired by the natural world and attempting to express that in a unique and personal way.
My work can be found in several galleries across the UK with paintings finding homes in private collections all over the world including Canada, Singapore, Switzerland, Australia, USA and of course the UK.
